...the week before Christmas and all through the room
there were piles of fabric that caused her to swoon

the sewing machine hummed and used all of the thread
as visions of aprons danced in her head
each one must be different but beautiful still
time's running out, but make them, I will
these pictures I took when they were complete
the recipients thought them to be very sweet
there's more sewing to do and seams to be pressed
more coffee I'll drink, and then I'll get dressed
enjoy each minute as Christmas draws near
and remember the reason, our Savior, so dear

Oh how I love sewing gifts for people!! I am in the same boat right now. I just did a couple of puppets for Ada Liz that are way CUTE!!!! and a million other things;) Hope you get them all done. We have a snow storm here and I am clean, but soon I will be sewing again.
