Well, this is my very first blog entry. Seems weird, but I suppose I'll adjust. It is laundry day...a day dreaded by most. I don't mind it at all. Really! After days of freezing temps and rain/sleet/snow, I was glad the sun started to shine so I could hang the laundry on the clothesline.
No, I'm not crazy and yes, you read it right...clothesline.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the modern convenience of a dryer. I use it all winter long. But as soon as it's warm enough I hang all the laundry out to dry. There is something relaxing about hanging the clean clothes. They smell good, the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the girls are running around through the already-hung clothes and stealing my clothes pins. Oh wait, that last part about stealing my clothes pins...not so relaxing. They always seem to get dropped in the dirt, then put back in the bag, then used on the clean clothes which makes them a little dirty...let's not talk about that part.
Anyway, after it's all done and over with, it is really nice to look at. The layers of colors, the laughing (and screaming..happy screams) of the girls, the laundry ....ahhh, it's all done.
Putting the nice crisp dry clean clothes away, well, that's a different story.

Ang, I just love the blog. It reminds me of the good ole days when people use to chat over the clothesline at the back yard. It would be a goog place to share a thought, cares or prayer request too.
