Last weekend, when I originally met Adrienne, we were all at an annual fall festival held at a local historic landmark. There were so many things to see and do and enjoy. Here's a small list of things we enjoyed: listening to bagpipes, listening to some seriously good banjo playing (although not at the same time as the bagpipes), listening to great Celtic music, playing colonial children's games, learning about using a loom to make fabric, watching and learning about spinning wool into yarn, watching women make Dutch lace, witnessing butter being made in a churn, smelling the food cooking in the colonial kitchen, inspected in awe some beautiful handmade quilts, oh, and eating some bright blue cotton candy!

Oh that sounded like great fun! That blue cotton candy is great isn't it? Mom
What great pictures! It was cool to see similar pictures that I took but with a different twist. Funny what the eye will see ...
