one - I am thankful for the warmth of summer stretching into autumn. **windows open wide, feet adorned in flip-flops, the last few tomatoes ripened on the vine**
two - I am thankful for active imaginations. **girls that, immediately after breakfast, are transformed into cats, then cowgirls, then ballerinas**
three - I am thankful for laughter. **not only is my husband funny, seriously, really funny, but my girls are funny, too. there is lots and lots of laughter in our house throughout the day** (between bouts of whining and teasing, that is)

Whining must be going around because we have A LOT of it here also, but it is balanced by the laughter here also and that makes it sorta ok;)
